After all the books I have read and from all
the experiences I have heard I have made some observations and arranged them
together so that they connect and everybody can understand it.
So the first discussion will be about people:
People
What are human beings? Human beings are
revolution. Human beings are objects that have a brain which is a universe in itself.
They have a body that can not only talk, walk and eat but can also make things
that are very close to human beings. Don’t you think this is fascinating?
Steve Jobs, Newton, Einstein, Thomas Edison and
many more have proved this.
Now, I want to tell you what’s great? When a
person is great the person has such an aura that you feel very different,
positive and motivated around him as his vibes are so strong. He is a person
who also thinks different from others, is creative and imaginative and can
reimagine too. He has a ferocious drive towards his vision and is a leader and
the only thing that distinguishes between a leader and a follower is
innovation. The person has experience and is an expert in his field. You can’t
ignore the person when he is around. He can create a reality distortion field
in which even the impossible feels possible. This is what great means.
Then, why are we not like them? Are they
special? Or God gifted?
These great people were not gifted or special
they were very normal like us and actually many of them had many more problems
in life than us. So that makes us special.
I believe and great people have also said that
every ordinary person can choose to be extraordinary. So what did great people
do to become extra ordinary?
We will get to that soon, but first you need to
understand one thing. Every human being in this world will try to live upto
expectations of a third party. However, people who have become great, have the
third party live inside themselves. They fight with themselves to improve so
much on their journey that they become great.
Getting back to the question that what did they
do which we aren’t doing? There are some factors out of which the first one is
association.
Association
Association meaning the environment in which
you surround yourself. One thing about the human brain, I have observed is that
its 70% thinking is based on what other people talk around him. A person’s
mindset is determined by his association. The reason behind this is that every
brain send weak or strong vibes or vibrations and these vibrations are absorbed
by other brains so if there are 6 people in a room and out of it 4 people are
talking and thinking about say fun then the other two even if they want to talk
about ideas they cannot. Whereas if 4 people are talking about an idea, then
the other receive their vibrations of ideas which is dormant and they start
talking too about ideas.
That’s why, we should surround ourselves with
people who are much more knowledgeable and experienced and are positive and
talk about innovation, ideas etc. They will always pull you up and that is how
your mindset becomes right and your brain starts thinking in the right
direction.
Think Different
Once your mind starts thinking about innovation
and ideas your brain will automatically start thinking different from the
common crowd. That’s when you will become more and more curious and will start
working different projects or ideas or ideals and that will build a totally new
you. You will feel different that time. It is like that little push you gave
the car stand on the slope and it starts moving on its own.
Simplicity
Simplicity is something that some may believe
in or not and is a debatable topic and so if you do believe in it then let’s
discuss.
Imagination and
Creativity
Albert Einstein once said that the true sign of
intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.
People say that only some special people that
have the power to imagine can imagine and this became more true when it was
proved that Einstein was special because a part of his brain (corpus callosum)
was significantly thicker than average people.
But the reality is that everybody can imagine.
What is Imagination?
I believe that imagination is relating things
together to make something new. That is what Da vinci, Einstein and others did.
For eg. Newton saw the apple fall and saw a relation between physics and this
apple fall and stated the law of gravity.
Creativity I regard is the same as imagination
because I believe creativity is when you can put colors into a product to make
beautiful and more efficient. That is correcting the small things to make
something 100 times better and imagination is building the same product in a
more efficient manner and better manner and so the end results are the same.
Application
After thinking about all of this, you can apply
this to your dream. I will explain, how I have applied it to my dream.
My dream is to have a company that is so
creative and imbued with innovation and creativity that it will outlive me and
continue to be innovating. I want innovation to be in its genes.
The idea on which my company should be based
should be at the intersection of humanities and science which sparks innovation
and creativity.
I consider that literature consists of a vision
which the past had made and science and technology can make that true.
The employees of my company should have the
passion for perfection and the ability to reimagine and the ferocious drive to
revolutionize. I want to create a product which has
‘Simple Design + Great
Capability + Cheap’
Software and hardware of the products should be
integrated like a human brain. This is revolution. And it doesn’t have to be in
that particular field. It can even be a product or company that can create a
whole new field.
